New Armytek lights?

Some new lights appeared on the Armytek website. Different battery types with common features: programmable, xm-l, and tir lenses. Also simpler designs, presumably cheaper. They are just computer rendered right now, so no telling when if ever they will be released.

Also a Zebralight looking programmable headlamp with tir lens also.

Quoth the server 404?!?

Mmm. I kinda like those Armytek ideas.

Just got my Predator XPG2. You gotta like modes and programming them using the head as the toggle. Its truly never ending. Some hate the UI, its been growing on me day by day. Once you learn the basic toggle commands it becomes a game as the modes are limitless. And you can get creative with the ramping and stabilization settings to name a few...

Their site goes up and down, the links are good.

I hope they will be min-Predator edcs. Big mystery is the tir beam… I know the Predator is a great and versitile. light as well as a fun toy.

I look also forward to Armytek mini led flashlights. I have already had two Armytek flashlights and I think these new one will be cool too 8)

Does anyone know any news about Partner flashlight I’m so curios…

I’ve got a message from Armytek about new promotion which I’m waiting fora long time:) 20% discount for Armytek Partner lights. I do’nt have such much money for all these lights :_( what to do???

I’d save for the Smart series which should be coming soon.

i considered the A2 XM-L even though its a bit over my price range, but shipping almost doubles the price, it would be almost $70, i could drive to the armytek address and back for half the shipping cost

Smart will be more powerful. Do you know what mean multi-color led indication and full color indication?
I found this in the description of Smart lights http://www.armytek.com/products/flashlights/outdoor-and-camping/

Yep, it's kind of a killer to add $30 onto a $35 light.

To be fair though, Armytek do offer free worldwide DHL shipping for orders over $95. So on the regular purchase price of a Predator, Barracuda, Viking, Wizard or Grizzly it would be free shipping. They just haven't quite nailed it for the newer, less expensive models.

You need to buy more or maybe combine an order with a fellow BLF member nearby. (Not always possible/easy I know)

I did read at CPF a comment from someone complaining that a discount or promotion had put a light under $95 and now he had to pay shipping. The solution was to simply add a couple of accessories such as batteries or grease to reach the minimum.

+1
I did in such way in my previous order. I do not want to pay for shipping and I decided to buy some accessories. Because in both ways I need to pay not only for the light

I really like my Armytech lights, but you have to watch out for their shipping practices. even though they promote themselves as a Canadian company, all their product is shipped out of China, and they mark its full value. I live in Canada and not only did I have to pay tax, I had a ‘nice’ brokerage/duty fee to pay when it finally arrived! My $120 order cost me an extra $30!! needless to say I was Not happy, and even though I like their lights, this may discourage me from dealing with them again…

I always try to know a lot of info about my purchasing. Usually I ask questions customer service.
And when I ask Armytek about my order and shipping I got the following response
“…All items are shipped from our storehouse in China.

Bump an old threads to say the GRIZZLY has appeared on their site.

She’s beautiful! But expensive!

4° hotspot and 40° spill makes it sound like it'll really throw, which will be mighty impressive with a MT-G2. It's out of my price range, although I might make an exception if they make a version using 26650's or 32650's, and a side clickie with a nice set of modes or control ring with infinite levels both with a good low.

wow!

The Grizzly certainly looks cool. Hopefully they figured out a driver topology that’ll drive an MT-G2 from 2x18650 with full regulation.

There are no any updates yet :frowning: This product is still being prepared for production.
