Hello, dear colleagues, I have a problem with blf q8. after a few minutes testing of the flashlight, I blocked the flashlight by clicking it four times. Then she lied in a drawer for two days. after two days I wanted to switch it on four times, and unfortunately the flashlight does not react at all. Even the on / off switch does not light up. The batteries are fully charged. Does anyone have an idea what could have happened and what is the solution ??

Try it again 4 times timed right.

If that does not work, just unscrew and screw back the battery tube. It will work just fine then.

Disconnecting the batteries should reset the driver and it should be out of lockout mode. If it is still dead after that, something is not making contact and the first to think of is the tube not making contact with the driver. Try tightening tighter (temporarily removing the o-ring helps for this check) or squeezing a straightened and curved paperclip between tube and driver, if the light works after that you will at least know where the problem is.

Does the button light up green? If not check the batteries.

Also, check the placement of the oring, I had mine “jump” to another body-cut, closer to the edge and the head and couldn’t fully screw (so the flashlight didn’t turn on).

Djozz, you were right, I removed the ring and tightened up the tube with the batteries. it worked now I know what the problem is. Thanks.
