New to modding here. I just learned about the new Convoy driver with the updated firmware a few days ago and got me itching to try it. Will the new driver fit the S3?

Also how easy is the replacement procedure?
It should fit any light with a 17mm driver. The driver has chips on both sides, so you might need to secure it in place with solder as the retaining ring might not fit (I only have the new driver on a C8, which has a larger retaining ring, so I don’t know if it will work with the S3 retaining ring). The S3 driver is probably soldered in the pill, you’ll just replace it the same way the previous driver was
