I bought one of these Energizer ENHDGRLP COB headlamps a couple weeks ago and have been using it exclusively without the headband and clipped to either my suspenders or to my hat brim. I only paid $18.99 from a local vendor, which is about 1/2 of what online vendors are selling it for. I’m not sure why there is such a difference. It seems to be a good purchase at higher price - very versatile.
This is a much improved version of the Nitecore T360, which had a clip that was in the wrong orientation for hat brim or shirt pocket use, the clip was too tight for most hat brims and it’s battery would go dead without use.

This Energizer offering has a very nice with white flood light in two levels of 70 and 180 lumens and has red flood that also blinks.
Operating sequence:
White light:
- From off short press for 180 lumens.
- Short press again for 70 lumens.
- Short press to off.
- Long press to change to red steady.
Red light:
- From off - if white was last used - long press to steady.
- Short press to red blink.
- Short press to off.
- Long press to change to red 180 lumens.
To change from the current mode (while still in it) to the other mode or from the previous mode from off - long press.
Complaints:
- Didn’t have instructions in package, but UI was easy to figure out
- Not sure how to tell when fully charged. The button is red when initially plugged in, but appears to gain a very small blue dot after a couple hours of charging.
Changes that I’d like to see:
- A 3rd output mode of about 20 lumens. 70 lumens is much too bright for many tasks.
- I’d like to see a smaller, flat clip option that would better accommodate clipping to a hat brim or pocket and could also have a magnet
- An option with memory mode or with the low beam first in the sequence could also be beneficial, rather than coming on in the brightest mode first.
- An additional low output red would also be helpful. The steady red is brighter than needed for many situations.
Summary:
- This Energizer version corrected most of my complaints with the discontinued Nitecore T360 version.
