A quick size comparison. Barely larger than the Atom AL mule/aspheric and smaller than a traditional TIR.
I was intrigued by the Fenix E16’s optic.
The beam pattern is primarily thowy like a tradional OP reflector with a central hotspot and secondary spill. But as a result of the shallow emitter placement, there is also a wider tertiary spill (160+deg.); this actually works well for close-up illumination. I can see more lights experimenting with this lens.
