Just saw this on the wowtac site. The head kind of looks like the Thrunite Catapult V6. Of course I am interested and just waiting for amazon.ca to carry it

I wouldn’t bother with the WOWTAC A4. I own there BSS A1S V2 and love it. However, I looked at the specs for the Thrunite catapult v6. They are an exact match to the soon A4. The only difference that I could see, was the longer handle on the A4 and the fact that they claim 2000 lm compared to the catapults 1700 lm. The candela rating remains the same though between the two which is the more important factor for my personal preference. Plus, if you can get a 20% discount on the catapult v6 and pay $59.99 (battery included). Then how does it make sense to pay $49.95 for the A4 without a battery when you’re just gonna end up having to spend money on a battery anyway.

Good advice. As a flashaholic, i’m pretty sure I will end up getting an A4 to go along with my V6 despite the sound reasoning and my better judgement lol.

Yeah,the head looks like it but the body [2 X 26650] makes it a totally different light when carrying it

I will stick to and only need my Catvn V6 for lights that fall in that classification. :+1:

COMPARISON W/ U21vn

This is modded but Thrunites specs were Lower on the stock version. So the stats below are ~7 to 10% higher than actual stock.

I already want one and I have 2 V6’s, 1 in NW and the other in CW. I won’t need it either. I just love flashlights. The added voltage with 2 cells may help with modding. How hard do you want to push the HXP 35 HI?
