Here is how SC26 Turbo mode works:
In turbo mode, if the light doesn’t reach pre-set temperature (45, 55 or 65 degrees), it will stepdown after ~2 minutes no matter what.
If SC26 reach Thermal Protection Temperature (45, 55 or 65 degrees) before ~2 minutes Turbo stepdown timer, it will step down earlier.
All other modes are per thermal control.
You can set Thermal Protection Temperature (45, 55 or 65 degrees) depends on where you live or you can set 45 degrees for winter & 65 degrees for summer time.

Got my sc26 today. Anodizing is very pretty, and the light is very bright. However I think I’m spoiled by Emisar because I can’t stand the UI. Is there a way for me to flash this to narsil or something else??

I don’t think this is possible unfortunately.

It looks like Mtnelectronics will be coming out with some drivers soon that might be able to fit the light… I think the diameter is 20 or 22mm?

Also is there any point in doing a spring bypass on this light?

Yes, there is a point.

You will get a longer regulated runtime, and more of it due to the lower voltage drop of the spring meaning less energy will be wasted.

i think people make the ui too much of a deal, its not that bad, sure its not as good as emisar or blf lights but so? we got the light for a very small price with the discount i have nothing to complain about… i mean we get the choice of 5 body colors, different emitter colors etc i think its a bargain for the price.

I also tested out the lumen. sc26 xhp 35 hi NW is doing 1615 lumen @ 5 seconds… just in case anyone wanted to know.

All it really lacks is a direct path to lowest setting unless it is memorized . Otherwise , the ramping is good and double tap to turbo. That’s not terrible.

I dont use ramping mode, because its slow and you cant quickly go back to previous mode when you are in turbo mode…

I choose modes UI… overall, the light is not bad for the gb price.

it is NOT timed stepdown, i run and run and run tests and see different results in cooling\no cooling at 45\55\65 temperature

and i have seen other company (head office) of haikelite info before

flashlight manufacturing part disappared. and now all the website is down. do they face some troubles?

problem is that it is not reular being down, last week i`ve seen it showing info about company that owns haikelite.
so there was no info about flashlights. all the old link led to this main page.

hope that is really something like desing update.
