【New light available】Wurkkos TS15 mini thrower with Compatible AA/14500 battery

Hello BLF folks,

Wurkkos TS15 is the upgraded version of TS12, and it will available on next week.

The post is only for Wurkkos TS15 mini thrower.

TS15 is the upgraded version of TS12 (we take the beam shot video here). The Max Output is 900 lumens (on double clicks the button to turbo), and turbo mode will continue 2 minutes, then stepdown reduces the brightness to 350 lumens with 1 hour.

↓↓The high mode runtime by 14500 Li-ion battery

↓↓The medium mode runtime by 14500 Li-ion battery

↓↓The low mode runtime by 14500 Li-ion battery

The Wurkkos TS15 is operated by side e-switch Hold the button could control main light with 5 levels output:Moon-low-medium-high-turbo.

4 clicks the button when turn off will get lockout/unlock mode immediately, or you can unscrew the body and interrupt the electrical contact. Also, it’s powered by included 900mAh 14500 Li-ion rechargeable battery (or AA battery we take the video here). The charger for max 5V/1A USB-C port.

It also include ATR Advanced Thermal Regulation, that kicks in at 50°C and reduces the output to cool the light.

What’s the Y-axis scale in the runtime graphs above?

@Wurkkos_Terry : nice! like your developing direction!

  1. When will you release 5000K LED Version?

  2. why no clip?

  3. the body end is very bulky - why?

  4. the button looks a little bit cheap and looks like you can push it unwanted in the trousers - why not use the sturdy and high quality feeling button from the Lumintop GT Nano 3.0?

  5. can you use button tops?

  6. general idea:
-what about a integrated recessed tail clicky (at the end of the body) withthe same functionality like the front button? this would satisfy also tactical and tacticool oriented user and would not ruin the normal user experience. and - it would reduce your developng costs, because you dont have to develop and test two products!

Hi. What is the improvement over the TS12?

1 Thank

Not sure if that’s an improvement, but it seems to have a reflector rather than a TIR.

The ts12 uses a reflector too.

Even though given graphs are a mess, the one for high mode likely shows regulated output which is not a thing for TS12.

2 Thanks

Yep, the description confirms that.

Another improvement is AA usage.

Sorry for late reply. We were indeed busy always some time ago due to changes in shipping cost. The Y-axis scale in the runtime graphs above means lumens.

Thanks for your great comment and questions my man. Let me add some answers now.

  1. The release time of 5000k version depends on our supplier, we are also waiting for the stock provide.
  2. Wurkkos engineers told me they wanna try once no clip design.
  3. I haven’t gotten the accurate answer yet.
  4. We can currently produce the button stably. The new button means new risk.
  5. What’s button top you mean?
  6. Dang! The body size is too tiny to add a integrated recessed tail clicky.
    Hope my answer is working.

From 14500 only to AA/14500 compatible. From regular lens to AR coated lens.

Yep, you are right

The values lack decimal point. And the same goes for the X-axis.
