Just saw this over at CPF , I’m pretty much drooling over it right now! Here it is
-side and tail switch
-higher efficiency
-hybrid reflector
-higher lumens
-infinitely variable side switch (High output at 3A: 895 lumen max for 112 minutes. Low output at 0.01A: 5 lumen max for 48 hours )
– HIDDEN STROBE AND SOS
Sadly, it’s only type II anodizing now…
I honestly don’t care about the anodizing that much. I’d rather have better other features as they did than better anodizing; as they did.
Can’t wait for the pics, probably just a slightly changed 7g5 though. Also, beamshots will be cool. We should just tell them to send one to selfbuilt!

I wonder if it is compatible with the aspheric head...

If they can keep the price under $70 that’d be fantastic. Then it’d be a super cheap aspheric that’s high quality. Did you see all the other new ones?

Damn… I too just bought a 7g5v2 and I’m waiting for it…
If the Cs isn’t noticeably better then that’ll make me happy… Otherwise I’ll have to buy it
Edit: http://crelant.com/quote at least my collimator head still works with it.

It could be 100 lumens less and I’d still buy it! What with that infinitely variable switch. Tired of the 850 high, 650 low…

I saw it posted on crelant.com a couple of days ago, no pictures. Guessing it will go for $80-90's. I'm waiting on it from Int'l outdoors. With the collimator should be awesome. Was looking at the 7G5-V2 or 7G9 before that.
