I like it, but all I can think is if you are going to put those cooling fins in it you might as well make the whole head bigger. It does look comfortableto hold though.

Another nice light that I don't need.... good thing for me is the price is what it is or i'll be too tempted to buy it. IMHO it needs a better clip than the one shown. They could have machined a slot into the tail cap and installed a titanium clip (much like the Sunwayman M11R... the epitome of flat tail cap and clip combo design) for bezel down deep pocket carry. Time to start my own knockoff torch/flashlight company (with pocket clip/attachment as a side venture). May I wish upon a falling star...
That's a good looking light! One thing I don't like is the fins wider than the head. At least make the head as wide as the body to maximize reflector diameter and throw. it could be that much better!
I've really grown to like the EC1 and if I get a Nitecore that would be my first. Something about it I really like. ;)
this little light is impressive, but the EA4 set such a good benchmark this light feels meh. also looks like the UI is identical to the EA4. but still a good light and i have a lot of 18650s ready too
It looks like an MT26 revamped with an electronic switch. Nitecore seems to be coming on strong in the last year.

You won’t regret buying it. Throws like crazy for it’s size. The head looks big for pocket carry, but with the flat part on the head you can’t even feel it there. The modes still work with 16340s too, but the low is higher. The cool thing is you have the red light if you need a moonlight. Even has a voltage indicator with red flashes. All the geeky bells and whistles really validate a flashaholic carrying it
