Nitecore has introduced a new accessory for their TM Tiny Monster series lights. It is a clamping ring and handle to turn the lights into configurations similar to the Solarstorm SP03 and Black Shadow Terminator. Per the photos of it mounted it fits with the handle open end pointing forward. The model name/number is NHM10. The full title from the listing at Battery Junction is “Nitecore NHM10 TM Series Handle Mount Kit - Fits the TM11, TM15, TM26, and TM36 Flashlights”.
Based on the description and the listed inside diameter of the clamp it should fit the SupFire M6 and SRK soup can lights as well as the Solarstorm SP03, possibly with minimal shimming. I have ordered one and will report on what it fits once it arrives but per the Battery Junction listed dimensions for the Nitecore TM lights battery tubes diameters it should fit lights with 50mm battery tubes.
BTW is there a agreed on name for a flashlight with a handle? I have seen Lantern used along with Search light but they also cover other configurations?
For slightly under size battery tubes there is always shimming possible with wraps of tape, heavy paper or art board or even sheet metal materials. Use a little ingenuity! It uses a different clamping method for the ring but the Jetbeam RRT3 ring and handle is 47mm internal diameter.
Not sure until it arrives and I can try it out. I have three SRKs and clones as well as SupFire M6 and L1 lights I intend to try it on when it arrives. I will report results then.
Got it from Battery Junction and installed it on my SupFire L1 in place of the original handle. A huge improvement over the original handle as it fits the hand much better and corrects the light’s center of balance which was unacceptable and very nose heavy with the factory handle. I intend to get one or two more for my Nitecore TM lights too.
