Just saw this new series at Intl-outdoor! I was pretty excited to see something new and innovative like this. I especially like the power indicator on the tail switch as well. Looks to be an interesting and original light, and handsome to boot!
They have the whole lineup of battery types which is nice.
I was looking at those too. I’ll have to see some video. It looks like you would always need two hands to control it unless you use the same overhand grip as in the picture.
My thought for this light was that it would be nice to mount on my handlebars of my bike. Then i don’t have to fiddle soft pressing a switch on bumpy terrain, i just reach right in front of me, easy access and turn a knob for variable control. Seems much easier (in theory) than buttons or even a control ring that is further forward on the head that you have to feel for to turn.
Is it just me, or does the Niteye EYE10 look like the reincarnation of the Jetbeam RRT01. Whenever I wanted to get one they were out of stock…now this. Little lights get me all itchy.
I like this! I will check the reviews on this little beauty for sure. The UI seems very handy w nice output. Too bad I just got the TN12 cause this would have been on the short list for sure.
NiteEye 10 and Jetbeam Rrt01 had the same designer. He sold the designt to both companies with only slight differences in mind. Atleast that’s what I read on CPF. That’s why the rrt01 has a smooth reflector, and the nighteye10 has an OP reflector
