Wow, that’s very well documented and looks not too hard to do. Well, apart from not having a hot air gun- have you got any suggestions on decent one that doesn’t cost the earth?

what glue

a small dot of superglue (that seems to be what Olight used), or silicone caulk, or nailpolish, or acrylic paint. Do not put glue in the holes where the tweezers go.
