Hi, just signed up. I’d previously not long been a member of CPF, just a couple of months. Saw it had been hacked today and found this place. Then I found out CPF isn’t all that well liked so that explains it. When sites get hacked I give them a wide berth. Anyway, only really been interested in flashlights for less than a year. Me and my wallet like the idea of the budget light forum. Hope to browse around and find some interesting and useful posts.

Yup. It’s real peaceful here by comparison. I suspect we’re about 80% refugees from “there”. Over here we only get excited when somebody has a good sale on - then you have to be careful not to get trampled in the stampede.

It can hit the wallet a bit but my resistance to bright things and sharp things is low. 
The chances of getting through the first week without buying something are small to none, there’s just so many good things. :bigsmile:

That’s awesome and so true. I’m supposed to be saving money by not buying any significant number of new flashlights but somehow managed to spend more than I should have on 5 new lights (and a decent number of batteries) in the last few weeks… 3 being budget and 2 definitely not so much!
