Why you downgraded battery so much lol, 18350 would be much better choice with 1200-1600mAh choices and not this ancient 16340 which no one uses anymore. The LED is nice but add 5000K when it will be available from manufacturer.

Using a 16340 battery is a massive fail IMO! I got super excited about the light till I saw the battery, hard pass!

I must be missing something as a bunch of companies have come out with these short lights with large diameter heads… I’m not going to trouser pocket carry anything with a greater diameter than a S2+, 40mm is huge, in my opinion and might as well use a bigger cell as you will have it in a jacket pocket anyway…

I mean, I like 16340, but for tiny almost keychain sized lights

I would have liked it much better if Acebeam had kept the battery from the first E10 (26350) for the E10 2.0 as well.

A 16340 is also a no-go for me.

Nice. Her are some questions @ACEBEAM @Acebeam_Zora @acebeam_Jack @Acebeam-Chris

  1. Are you planning to release a 18350 tube with usb-c battery as additional item?
  2. Are you planning to release a 4000K or 4500K LED version?
  3. Are you planning to release a high cri version?
  4. Are you planning to release a clip (like skilhunt mix 7 gen 1) to place it the opposite of the button for better handling and finding the button instantly?
  5. Are you planning to include a (special lantern) diffuser cap to be able to use it as lantern and/or for narrow work?
  6. Are you planning to upgrade it with a side LED like your nice LD12r - this would be super nice, because such small thrower suck at short distances.
  7. Has the light a mechanical and electronic lock-out and how does it work?
  8. Depends the turbo mode brightness on the battery voltage (e.g. “half full” battery = turbo with 50% brightness)?

Why would I buy this over a Wurkkos TS11 that uses an 18350 battery and has an extension tube so that it can use an 18650?

I quite like it, as a novelty item, like the original Lumintop GT Nano that ran a 10220 or a 10440 with a tube. It’s very expensive for a novelty item, but if the runtimes are correct, then a couple of hours+ on high is pretty good and makes it a useable, tidy and lightweight pocket or pack light.

The 18350 format of these mini throwers has been done to oversaturation by Sofirn and Wurkkos, so I get why you’re going smaller but that price is too steep at $60.

The problem is the tube’s diameter is typical for 18xxx lights. With only 1 additional mm of length they could have increased the capacity by 70%.

They absolutely could have. The dimensions are basically identical to all the 18350 throwers like the Wurkkos TS11 etc. The reason they are choosing to do so is to add cr123 compatibility:

CR123’s and 16340’s in 2025 (almost 2026) is certainly a choice, Acebeam.

That’s why people use sleeves. I reamed out my Jetbeam RRT-0 and made a fitting sleeve. With extension tube for AA and 14500 it’s realy an omnivore now!

Yes and it could have easily been done if they just widened the battery tube for 18350 - and then throw in a plastic sleeve for the smaller cells into the box. That’s what? Like 50c of plastic? And many companies have done it before.
