That does look nice, what is the voltage on the battery pack? is it 2s2p like most others?

That is a nice looking light. I’d love it if we were able to buy hosts like this.

Whats the brand of the cells?

I find that for the trail riding that I do, none of these lights have mounting systems strong enough to prevent the light from shaking and moving around. Otherwise this looks very nice!

Hi serifus ,

It’s 2S2S according to the manufactory.

Thanks
Ric

That would be 2S2P then, meaning 8.4V and well.. depending on the cells used, true 5200-6800mAh or chinese 8000-10000mAh.

I hope there are brand name cells inside.

I seriously doubt there are brand name batteries inside, I’m sure all these budget bike lights have batteries that come from the same manufacturer. I quite like the form factor of these twin headed bike lights.

Initially I thought this was a great buy (£23 e bay auction supplied from china) but it only lasted a couple of hours before battery pack died. I previously had a cree head torch which lasted for around 20-30 hours before suffering the same fate (investigation showed very dodgy materials used to connect the two cells) . I had hoped quality would have improved but alas it seems not. The rest of the kit seems sound so will purhase a reliable battery pack from magicshine for around £30.
