This mag was shortened in the Chicago X style where the head becomes the tail and vice versa. The tail cap that your seeing is left over from and old TSC light that will be getting a new clickey switch. The batteries are 4 Keeppower 14500. The tube was bored to fit the quad cells. Emitter choice and driver will be revealed shortly. However I think the quad li-ions are a bit of a clue.
12V Mtg or 6V w/ 3-18V buck driver.
The 3 to 18 volt boost, buck driver will not boost a 26650 long enough to run an MTG-2. Looking good Mr amazing.
batteries are in series
I guessed MK-R after reading OP...
I should off added the link to the driver I was referring to and not assumed that it was the same as what Rufusbduck was talking about. here it is here. sorry.
We have a wiener!
yes mkr with this little baby buck driver
Very cool looking light. So looking forward to hearing how that new emitter works out for you.
A completed mkr project here Not exactly a budget light so I wan’t sure if you guys would be into it.
oh wow.... that is a freaking awesome light! do I dare ask how much it cost?
a little over $400 maybe, but the FM host was 3/4 of the total cost.
Are you hiding light builds from us now? That looks orsm. Have you done any beam shots with it? Hang the expense Mr amazing, bring your builds here. I for one would love to see them.
yeah, me too. I love the custom builds. and its blue... cant hide that from my eyes
Holy crap, that looks amazing! Just because this is called BLF doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate more expensive lights! It means we don’t discriminate against cheaper lights
i LOVE mag builds
great job and cant wait to see some beamshots
