Ok I am new to modding and need some advice on what driver to use in a build. I got an olight m3xs for free because the stock driver is dead. I am not going to use the side switch just the tail switch. I am using a Luminus SST-40 N4 6500K LED on Copper DTP MCPCB and two Sanyo 18650 3500mah 3.7v cells. The driver needs to be 30mm I just don’t have enough knowledge yet to figure out the best driver to use. Any and all info is greatly appreciated thanks.

your problem is going to be using a 3V emitter in a 7.4V battery configuration.
If you go with a 6V LED like the XHP 70.2 I would say to follow most any Convoy L6 (30mm driver also) mod builds and you could probably keep the side SW.
I am not familiar with what Buck driver you would need to use the 3V SST40.
I already removed the side switch this is a learning exsperance build anyway lol.
ok so after doing some reading and learning i decided to go with an XHP70.2 6v led and a 30mm FET + 7135 Driver - MTN-30DDm - 2S-4S Input Voltage (Clicky) driver. I am hoping this combo will make a nice thrower out of this host thanks vwpieces for the info and suggestions.
