This is my favorite headlamp for home improvement projects because it’s floody, fairly light weight, and has the convenience of USB recharging. The headband tends to slip a bit, but is comfortable and I have it on and off frequently anyway. I’m tempted to get a second.

Damn nice kit.
Here’s the best part of this headlamp.
You can run it without the battery via the USB and it still offers all modes.

One other thing, the clip from Sofirn SF36W will fit on either end of this light if you want to carry it.

Mine came in today. I guess for $18 i can’t complain to much. Build quality seems a little low to what I’ve come to expect from Sofirn. Threads on one end were a little messed up with a loose sliver of metal hanging off of one thread. Cap seems pretty thin as well. The clip that the light snaps into is all plastic. There is a small plastic piece that serves as the angular adjustment for the lamp and meshes into the metal body. It doesn’t take much to move it and first time I grabbed the light to take it off my head, I pulled it out of the clip. The light is plenty bright enough and the UI is decent but the build quality is a little lacking. It won’t replace my Fenix nor was I expecting it to. It’ll serve the purpose for occasional use.
