Newbie snake hunter (catch & Rlease)

I know this question must have been asked a billion times, but I am stuck running out of time and unashamed to admit a newbie. I hunt snakes at night, very dangerous trip coming up, ferdelance and bushmasters bites don’t hurt they seriously kill u. I am looking for suggestions for a small/ medium flash light that can throw wide and narrow beam of light that is immensely powerful and will give me 4-6 hours on the high setting on one set of batteries and having perhaps high, med, low and SOS settings. Obviously ac and dc charger and then battery/s and or type. I used had a smallish rifle mount light that I honestly thought I was on an acid trip since it was mind bogglingly powerful for its size around 6-9 inches long . And one could adjust narrow to wide beam for the longest distance. If only I knew what it was. I was looking at monster flash lights but my god they pricy and it’s not that I am not willing to spend a few bucks but it just seemed crazy high …. Any comments suggestions would be appreciated I am flying to South America 2nd I can’t believe I have left this so long.

If your leaving on the 2nd of June your going to have to buy local which limits you to where you are. Where you live?

Do you have stores like Walmart and HomeDepot as your only options? Or are there tactical stores, gun stores, camping and fishing stores?

Streamlight, Fenix, and Pelican would be reliable brands.

Lights not going to be all that small if you want a lot of lumens for 4 hours. A Fenix LD40 or similar.
4 aa batteries and 200 ish lumens would be a good balance of size and output.
Focusable and decent, Home Depot or walmart budget brands might be good
