Not sure where to post it, so off-topic it goes.
I’m looking for a good quality LED light fixture with a nice tint. Something that can change colour temperature and brightness. Preferrably something available in Australia; or at least consuming 220v (not 110v) on input.
Somewhere around 3000 lumens range, depending on its shape.
I tried Yeelight Awen 550C which is quite universally praised. I does all what I need in terms of light control (colour temp and brightness) but I don’t like it’s tint at all.
In higher temps the lights looks “creepy”, in lower tints its very yellow (I have yplight X1 LE with CREE XP-G2 @4000K - that yellow).
Totally disappointed with the tint quality so I’m back to my research.
Is there is anything available with Nichia E21A? - that would be a dream light. Something with SST-20, LH351D, or other Nichias will be interesting as well.
On the other hand, has anyone tried replacing emitters in Yeelight? - would’ve been nice to stuff with with a bunch of 219Bs
