Nitecore TIP - Restore threads on plastic

My trusty companion the Nitecore TIP has issues with the “threads” in the plastic frame that sits between the two metal parts.
Any good advice on what to restore the plastic with so the tiny screw will stay in place?

pour 1 drop of purple loctite onto the plastic threads and let it dry.

then they are back functional
