Njang AK-47 driver issue?

I have a Njanq AK-47 driver like this one

When I check for connectivity with a multimeter with one prong at the “-” point on one side and the other prong touching the outer ring on the other side I get no connectivity. Is the driver faulty or is this a common issue?

These drivers with 7135 chips usually regulate the - side,so the battery - and led - should not be in contact.

The battery was not connected when I tested it for connectivity.

There should be no connectivity,so your driver is OK from that part.

The - point is where the led should be connected. The outer ring is the battery minus. There is connectivity between the led + and battery +.

As noted above, no conductivity isn't an issue--it's a design feature.

To get from led- to ground the current needs to flow through the amc7135 chips and they will measure a high resistance unless power is applied to the gate pin.
