Im runnina an old Eneloop Pro that is tired and worn out, so its only giving me 28 lumens at a time… Im quite happy with that ;-)(

Bear in mind this mod only applies to V5 drivers (present model, maybe for the past year), earlier models dont use 3535 LEDd. The version number can only be seen after separating the reflector from the pcb:
since the mod went well, I just ordered this new design
Im running the modded light on an old tired Eneloop Pro that can only put out 24 lumens now… thats actually plenty of output for me around the house.

New i3e arrived quickly from Amazon…
modded it to DeDomed 519a 4500K.
Did not like the beam w the clear Tir, it was a bit swirly… Changed to a 30 Degree Pebbled Tir… like the beam better. Above pic is with the Pebbled Tir.

The stock clear Tir is more throwy with a tighter hotspot. Works well w Domed LEDs.
