NOT FOR SALE ANYMORE

I bought this nearly a year ago. Tried to solder the wires to the board and failed… Ever since then it’s just been sitting in my draw.
Here what’s included:

GT mini
D1s reflector with 2 WF centering rings
LG MJ1 button cell
White flat 1 on L4P board
Old driver and new replacement driver from Neal (button was dodgy)
Original reflector and XPL HI CW on board

There are some marks on the head (can be seen in pics). The screws holes are too large for the original screws. Made my own and they also ended up becoming too big for some reason. You don’t need them though. They’re just for extra safety.

Just out of interest, won’t the stock driver blow the white flat?

Depends on the Cell. I have an LG MJ1 which won’t blow it but might overdrive it a bit. Might have to get a weaker cell.

I received the light half an hour ago. It is ready.

None of the reflectors you included sit deep enough. Make sure you secure the MCPCB with screws, do not rely on the thermal paste. When it gets hot, it will not keep the MCPCB in place.

A reflector that sits tight between the MCPCB and the lens will fix both the above issue and the beam.

The post office is open for another hour. Please get the Royal Mail service of your choice online for a small parcel, up to 500gr and email me the shipping label PDF. I will PM you my email and address.

If you act fast, I can ship it before they close. Otherwise, it will be Monday.

Th558, I hope you enjoy your light and you find a reflector that works well with that LED.

I managed to get the ring to fit the D1s reflector. I had to push it in the reflector first then install it. The corona is a bit ringy with a yellow edge but I’m still getting 300kcd (20% more than FT03).

There is a bit of a problem though. I’m having the same issue I had with the old driver. The button doesn’t always register clicks and after pressing it around 50 times it’s gotten much worse. Now it registers about 50% of the clicks. I ordered the driver from Neal is August 2019. I thought they would’ve fixed the issue by now. Is there any fix for this. I heard that you can re solder the switch or something but not sure if I can do it myself.

So I tried messing with the switch a bit and got it working about 85% of the time. I thought why not try it again and it became worse… eventually it stopped working and the switch fell out when I tried to pull the driver out…Now it’s useless. This issue has existed form day one and they still can’t fix it. It’s a shame cause I’ve heard that they have many other great lights.
