Noctigon KR1 Re-flash Issue

I recently purchased a Noctigon KR1 (SFN60 3V 3000K) and attempted to re-flash it today. It originally came with the KR4 firmware and I inadvertently used the K1 (10/31/2023) file and my first attempt got a “Operation completed with errors” response. After that, I couldn’t get it to recognize the MCU no matter what I did. When I select to skip that part, it’ll write but always comes back with errors. I’m using an Android to flash and have used it successfully on several different Emisar/Noctigon lights and one FW3A.

After having ran into these issues, I also erased the firmware but still end up with a light that won’t successfully re-flash or turn on.

I have an old Windows 7 laptop as well as a Mac so if using one of those may do the trick, I’ll get it set up but don’t want to go through all of that if it won’t resolve the issue.

I’m just curious if there’s anything else I can try or if I should contact Hank and see about purchasing a replacement driver.

I tried searching for a thread about this but wasn’t able to locate one. If there is one, please direct me to it. Thank you in advance!

If it can use a KR4 driver you can get one from JL:

Thank you! I didn’t know about JL. Been out of this hobby for a long time but then saw some new models and just had to check them out.
