All along only used TF 26650 protected.
Waiting for new lights so……
Originally looking @ Keeppower 5200 icr 26650.
*Price,mAh,looks,raised top, need the higher discharged current, etc…
*I do not know how or how actually the battery behave if i used TF 26650 in lights that need higher Amperage of discharge current.
Was gonna get them until i noticed the length/tallness of the batt after reading 1 post.
Saw the height of batt is 71.1mm/7.1cm, as such took out charger & measure with ruler…
Dang…even if the metal part (contact point) pushed down all the way, bend it, somehow cannot accommodate the said battery of the height.
*Am using nitecore D4.
So, read the forum a few days, the reviews/tests etc…
Either is about 4000mAh. (Thinking to get most cap for the battery)
Flat top.(I am not intending to put magnets/solder/etc)
*reason is because will also pass my dad several pieces (battery in series) for his multi emitter light, so also not thinking of imr, just in case, therefore, left with protected battery.
The more i find, the more blur i get & lesser choice i have.
1)Xtar 26650 5000mAh. (Saw its flat top so its a no go.)
2)INR 26650 E Protected 4000mAh 3.7V (4000mAh seems slightly less?)
3)EVVA 26650 4500mAh 3.7v Protected Rechargeable (69.6mm a tight fit on my charger…)
4)Fenix ARB-L4 4800mAh 26650 (70.5mm, not sure if i can stuff it into my charger….)
5)Keeppower 3.7V 26650 ICR26650 5200mAh (71.1mm height, do not know how to stuff into the charger.)
So is there any protected/raised top battery(using in series),have higher discharge current that is not so tall?
Preferably bout TF 26650.
Have read imr VS icr…so for a lazy guy like me. Still is protected icr better for me or go with imr battery?
