Today is not my lucky day.

First of I broke my Canon 52mm Close Up lens.
I was taking photographs of my S15 baton with my Close Up lens, sitting down. Then I unscrewed the lens, and put it on my leg. I forgot about it, and stood up,and the lens dropped on the concrete..

1 hour later I was putting my Nitecore EA8 in a boiling pan, because I wanted to unscrew the head and take a look how I can do a probable Led swap or find a possibility to do a real lock out.

But after the hot bath, it didnt turn on anymore.... oh oh.. I broke it.
I could unscrew the bezel, and took the lens and reflector out. And to my surprise the Xm-L had left the building.

then I gave up on that, and wanted to work on my mini maglite 2xAAA, and do something O-L style..
But my Dremel broke on me...
I used a grinder and tried to open up the head of the light, to put the Ultrafire M5 driver in it.

It was a single speed one.

not sure if it is worth repairing.(does anybody know if I can get replacement parts?

I think the job he was doing was a little above his strength. poor Dremel.

anyone had more luck today?

Wow! Better take some rest and watch TV instead.

Maybe it’s time to step away from the tools and drink Sapporo. Tomorrow is another day.

I already found a replacing part for the Dremel.. But I cant find someone that ships it to JP for cheap...

That EA8 can't have been your fault. Nitecore screwed that one up.

Wow. I abused the hell out of my Dremel and it still works. It should shut down if you stress it too much.. before something breaks.

Tomorrow is another day. ;)

Sorry to hear your bad luck. I winced when I saw your poor lens! Ouch! ;_; Hopefully you’ll have some better luck soon!

You dont want to know my week. Lets say the lightest let down this week was losing a GrafTech fishing rod ($90) with an Okuma levelwind reel ($60) attatched spooled with some Dacron line ($20)…….

Kick me down a sapporo.

Ask me. I planned on spending 300€ to fix my car and ended up spending 1.000. Money isn't the worst to lose. ;)
