Notice - Buying Li-ion cells from FastTech; SGP temporarily unavailable

Did you receive actual packages through an actual postal carrier?

If you did then you should know that there are lots of packages crushed, pierced and damaged without any sledge hammers involved.

But juding from the number of packages I have received with totally inadequate packaging, many people must have the picture that the postal service is transporting just their package only and it’s laying on a bed of feathers.

Iam waiting for Jessica respond back to my support ticket . As USPS locates or track.

For the people who cannot imagine that packages could actually get damaged during transport.

Hasn’t USPS been unable to track for days?

For my FT package that 17track has said for 3 days has been accepted, USPS keeps reading, “”“Sorry, the tracking system is having technical difficulties. Please try your search again later.”“”

...tracking# says cannot locate darn phone is impossible to edit.

New update from Jasmine. Singapore Post will refuse all packages that containing lithium batteries. :frowning:

Great. :_(

Well, this is bad... I got this email from Jasmine this morning:

This order contained NO batteries! Only these three items:

keltex78, maybe it was the knife? Jasmine updated her notice to include knives.

In this case, it's just as well though. That's the knife that FT changed the .sku item; it was originally the Boker clone and now it's just another cheap/trash knife. This just saves me the RMA and return process.

I guess I'll just by a NiMH charger at Wal Mart now. All I'm missing is the voltage detector.

I just made four separate orders of 18650s from FT, totaling 16 cells. Three orders have been shipped via HKPost. Let’s see if they make it out of the country.

Good luck! My 3 packs arrived in just 5 days, Shipped on 4.10., all containing liions and vis Singapore post. 8)

I had a package “shipped” with Singapore Post on 4/10 too, but it’s not even trackable (as in “The following Item(s) is/are not found”). No li-ions though, maybe I should have ordered some?

Mine were despatched on 4th :stuck_out_tongue:

I think this is how I will order future cells, in small quantities.

How did you tell them to put the batteries in the box?

I tried doing this myself, and couldn’t find anywhere in the ordering process to leave any instructions.

Go to fasttech and click “your orders”, you can manage everything there. By the way, in such cases as you quoted, they said they will automaticly put the batteries into the device.

I wonder is that is actually all or all for air freight? I would like them to open an over land delivery system. Old school but will avoid many of the dangers of transporting via air. May take a month but better than than none?

I didn’t tell them anything. They’re aware of what the situation is at the moment. The Chinese have been dealing with these bureaucratic logjams for ages. I’ll leave it to their ingenuity to keep me supplied with fresh ells.

How many ells, and of what?! the suspense is killing me!
