The Project Farm guy has an interesting test of various Milwaukee Batt. clones.
Along with new and well used OEM Batts.
He did pull the packs apart and tested the cells.
The best one almost tripled in price after the video came out.
Just wish he had found out which cells were used in the clone packs.

This guy
Does really good tool battery tests.
No affiliation or anything, just think he does a good job. He always takes apart every pack, always identifies the cells. Almost nobody on YouTube does that. And he measures capacity and output properly, with an electronic load. You can actually see the voltage drop and the testing is consistent. Most tool reviewers on YouTube test battery capacity and output by seeing which battery can drive the biggest screw into a tree stump the fastest, or run their leafblower the longest, and these tests aren’t very scientific lol.
Tool reviewers do not review tool batteries well.
TTC does a really good job too. They mostly test the brand new top of the line batteries though, and don’t often identify cells.
Jeff,
I didn’t know about TTC.
He just tested cheap Code Readers.
Been thinking about getting one for a while now.
Thanks for the link.

You didn’t know about TTC at all? It’s a really good channel. They have a few episodes testing flashlights too. It’s not their main thing so it’s not as technical as a dedicated flashlight reviewer would be, but it’s entertaining. I think they’re the only reviewer I’ve seen that legitimately tested the impact rating of a bunch of lights.
