Group Buy!!

I'm sure there will be a bunch of them coming out soon. Probably camping phone/lights and hiking phone/lights and tablet flashlights.

I'm sure soon they will invent a bicycle-flashlight too,......wait...

Stop!

MAP violation.

Ok. Group buy. They said they would print BLF edition on the light and install a cree led plus make a version with HAiii anodizing. They will also add the smartphone internet feature with a browser that only surfs flashlight websites.

Thing is, there is potentially a legitimate camping/hiking application for these. Big battery means it can potentially reach farther than normal without a cell tower. Or perhaps something good to keep in the car.

But its more silly than practical.

Beee, beee, beeeep “We’re sorry but the mobile flashlight you have dialed, BR5-49, is switched off or out of our coverage area… please try again after dark.”

I’ll bet it goes into the ultra low quality category

Man, I thought that thing was a joke.

Maybe there’s room for something like it in an emergency kit as TheGloriousTachikoma mentions, maybe a FRS/GMRS unit, but this version looks like a gimmick.

I think it automatically calls 911 if the strobe is activated.

Problem with these is .... you have to point it at the tower .

waiting for the new spy-phone 6 ti

/Blink……

lol* I Won’t be replacing my Samsung Note-3 with this marvel of gimmicks.

I wonder which whatsitfire battery they are claiming 8000Ahr out of.

Now, if they did headlamp/cell….

“Can I call you back? My other flashlight is ringing…”
