So the information that was meant to be shared was = How much rope it cuts . ( That was the only information being conveyed )
Does it have 440A stainless steel ?
I had an old Buck with 440C stainless steel and it was very hard to sharpen.
Old as in 1970’s old .
These knives had some sort of Carbon steel blade .
Most of the ones you find now are rather Rusty / or simply worn out from over sharpening .
I had one of these as a teen , and when I spied a clean one , I had to buy it .
This was just a test to see how a very old budget knife compares to a modern budget knife .
I have one, pretty sure I could put my hands on it with a little searching.
