Sorry for resurrecting my old thread.

A friend of mine has modded the subject lights, namely the Courui DO1 and the Maxtoch SN6×-2X by changing to a 6A driver AND to an Osram CSLNM1.tg 16mm Noctigon.

Both lights are still with him and I will be posting photos in the coming days.

I have already seen photos of beamshots of the Maxtoch and of the Courui (still with original perhaps 3a driver) and they are very impressive.
