I gifted a tank007 e09 someone is this i3 comparable? better? Anyone own both and can compare? Not so bright probably but bright enough for a aaa?

I don’t have the XP-G version of the i3 yet, but I have the iTP A3 EOS. To me the A3 is a better light than the E09 because of the clip and less noticeable PWM on Low and Medium. Build quality is probably similar since both are pretty good. Battery life is probably a little longer on the A3 as well.
Mine have come in a retail cardboard box usually. Not as nice as the E09’s Altoids tin. But 4Sevens does say the i3 includes a battery, which the E09 does not.

I think they are sold out of black, so if you ask for another color, make sure it is red, blue, purple, or gold [edit: gold is now out of stock]. Their customer service is supposed to be pretty good, but they are getting hit with a lot of orders right now.

red one ordered with a request for a blue extra
They rebranded themselves awhile ago. The old 4sevens site pretty much had nothing in stock for quite some time, but Olight stuff is being clearanced on their site since they sell(and own) Olight from there.
I ordered a purple one (plus the free one) Friday and then a red one on Sunday. The purple shipped today.
So mine shipped today with tracking number, will see how long the us post will take too europe.
