I have one coming in from them.

Beware the MAP!!! The coupon and price should be via PM.

Is this light waterproof and what is the batt config, series or parallel and using a carrier or SRK style?

One more Q- how does the reflector differ from the SR51?

Waterproof, 3P, no-carrier and smooth reflector (op on sr51)

Wow, I also like the button better than my SR51. Does the charger port have a rubber cover to keep water/crap out or is it sealed inside?

Other than being SMO is it the same reflector?

Edit I see it has a sliding door, does that door do the waterproofing? It looks like it could become an issue, I hope the port is also sealed internally.

I assume so but does the light have charging circuitry or does the charger you plug in need to handle that? Usually I’m totally against charging port lights so I’m hoping olight got it right with this one cause I really like this light.

The SR52 reflector is also wider and deeper compared to SR51.

I do not care for the port cover or the charging port in general. Some of the lights have the port on the right and some have it on the left - mine was on the right and I can feel it when I hold the light. I don’t know how well the port is sealed, but I imagine that would be the vulnerable spot when the light breaks or comes in contact with water.

Anyone tested its capabilities yet?

I have no idea if this is a good deal or not, but a quick Google tells me local retailers want £140 or there abouts for this light. This GB price works out at at approx £52. So it seems like a heck of a good deal.

Hi and welcome nitro7. Do you work for Gearbest?

Welcome to the GearBest forums!

I don’t work at gearbest. I found this coupon in a net, and decided it to share.
In Gearbest I bought, a month ago, sr51 according to the coupon from a thread from BLF.

Do we know what Vinh does with SR52vn?

So is the SR52 a better performer than SR51? Since they are using the same emitter, I would think they are the same output, probably. The exception would be the shiny reflector. Can anyone confirm?

Hi, just want to share some info about this SR52. I have it, its a baby thrower as I also have the TK61. I already dedome it to have more throw, but to bump the current its not needed because the XML2 emitter is already pulling 3.62Amps. I know they modded it there at CPF but he can only max out the current at just 4 Amps, why bother for a little more amps! The size of the aluminum reflector is 46.42mm(lenght) and ID is 53.79mm. Big hotspot with a nice corona. The pill was made of brass 3mm thick. Anyway I will do the teardown mod thread soon when I received a new driver that can push aroud 4-5Amps, :8)
