Does anyone know what size, length, battery the X7 takes? I found some Sony US 18650 VTC6 button tops at 66.68mm. Hate to spend 40.00 and have them not fit.
Should be able to find the answer here if no one chimes in.
They will work fine. Haven’t found any other limiting factor form factor wise other than needing a protruding positive.

Olights 8a batteries are way over priced at almost 70 a set. 
I would avoid the olights tbh, not the best for this light. Aim for 15a + as suggested, as you will be able to sustain turbo S for longer when the voltage drops down with use. Lower rating cells will sag earlier…………………….so you will end up with disappointing performance after your initial turbo blast or 2.
Just ordered a set of the LG HG2 20A. hope these do the trick
