One of the projects that delayed the start of my 7th annual contest entry

Thanks for the very kind and encouraging words. Much appreciated.

It took me a while to decide on how to heat sink the driver and the charger board. The answer was right in front of me but I didn’t see it at first. We’ll be gifting it to our son this weekend and I’ll take some photos of it in its new “in situ” location.

Nice gift :+1:

Well, he may suspect something as the glass shade is a spare leftover from his renovation that we are still working on a level at a time. He bought and we installed two hanging ceiling lights that use those shades. Then he bought an extra set of shades so we could use the same shades on some wall sconces. There was a leftover and I asked if I could have it. I didn’t say anything about what I might do with it; that was many months ago. But even he he suspected, he has no idea what sort of thing I created.

Perfect, will match in nicely :+1:

Here the light is, in it’s new home

…alongside some pottery, and a carved wood turtle… There is a Samsung 65” TV on the wall above; one of the thin One Connect series

These two suspended lights are the “family” doners lights.

2700 or 2800 K led’s in all fixtures
