Optics for XPG2?

Hi all,

Are there any optics that truly “fit” the XPG2 yet. When these were first released I tried them with some of what ever I had around but the dome of the emitter was too fat and got stuck in the optic.

I would mostly be interested in a tipple or quad that fits.

don’t the existing Carclo XP-G optics work with XP-G2? I would have thought that would be the easiest approach, although I don’t have any experience with them personally.

Carlco optics should fit. If you go to Carlco and do the Optics select, by choosing Cree and then click on XP-G2, you will find a list of all Carlco optics that might fit. On that list, you can select "Details" for any item and see all the LEDs that will fit, as well as the specs. They have anything from 10mm up to 36mm (I believe) and Triples and Quads.
