Pictured is an original Chrome Elephant and an FM3 Nickel Plated 3 inch Head with a Chrome Bezel ring.
There is no battery carrier.
$140 posted worldwide. (post will be around $50 for me as over 500g packaged.)
I believe this is a “re run” ie FM got some used Elles and rechromed them.
There are some subtle signs of this, ie suspect bodies were polished or prepared before chrome but some
wear or scratch marks are visible through the chrome.
It looks good, just not perfect.
Head is as new condition, Nickel Plated so it will tarnish (already has a subtle yellowing) over time.
See in the pics, there is a small spot where the nickel plate did “not take” was mentioned by FM in sales thread for the head.
Bezel is chrome, I have a Chrome Bezel also. I like a subtle two tone appearance…
No battery carrier. They used a 3 x 18650 carrier. I have seen 6 x AA packs custom made for it also.
I believe 7 x AA cells will fit, not 100% on that.
A standard Mag D spring sits in the tail.
