P60 18v driver?

Hi fellow lumen-junkies,

I was recently the recipient of a very generous giveaway, in which I won a Kaidomain "3-18v" XM-L P60 dropin.

I tried powering it up with 3 Li-Ions, with a combined voltage of 12.55v. After a brief flash, it is now in permanent 'firefly' mode.

I ultimately wanted this dropin to use in a Solarforce Gladiator, which takes up to 4x18650 cells. I would rather not use any dummy cells, so sourcing a suitable P60-sized replacement 18v-compatible driver is preferable.

Has anyone seen one for sale lately? I can't seem to locate one anywhere.

Thanks, in advance, for any help with this !!!

U dont mind XM-L2 do you?

1-mode only though. And not sure if its any good. But I have ordered one…

Edit: if anyone know where to buy that kind of driver, or a similar driver with modes im interested…

At $12, those are a bargain. It just seems a shame to waste a perfectly good pill, reflector, and LED, even though the items linked are probably a better and brighter solution.

Can anyone attest to these actually working with 4x18650s ? I would hate to wait the 3-5 weeks, then fry it right out of the envelope....

Single mode OK?
This one has a good rep, and can be modded to output ~2A with a resistor swap.

I have some of these single mode drivers they handle 18 volts fine. They only feed an XML about 2 amps, but they work OK and don’t overheat in a P-60. I can send you one if you want. They work better if you remove the small wires that come preattached and use bigger wires. Send me a PM if you want me to send you one.
