you don’t get any tracking data with flytexpress, if your order was sent tracked it will show the proper tracking number on the main “view orders” page under the column Tracking
Number, nothing there then you ain’t tracking anything.
Thanks for the reply, I do have tracking on the main “view orders” page and it is a German DHL tracking number that can’t be tracked either on 17track or DHL direct. I will be interested in how this whole thing goes as it is my first Banggood order. I guess I will just have to watch the DHL tracking to see if it does anything.
Yes, I also have what appears to be German tracking number like “RX………DE”. But I don’t live in Germany… kind of strange. What service is actually shipping this? Is Flyexpress just a reseller for the normal shipping services?
I'll try to explain this again: 1. BG ships the cells first to Europe (currently Germany, Sweden or Switzerland) by a courier
- not the fastest route, but necessary to make sure that the cells actually leave China
- this step is shown in flytexpress tracking, but tracking doesn't tell you much, usually only those two lines 2. Courier ships the cells forward to your country by normal air mail (DE, SE, ..)
- if you paid for tracking, or ordered over $25, this tracking number is shown in the BG order list
- the tracking number is probably assigned before the cells even reach Europe -> not really trackable before the cells are actually shipped from Europe
I just got a shipment from BG (not the cells yet but SWM C21C ) and the envelope did show only Swedish post markings. Even the return address is PO Box at Malmö, Sweden.
Ahh, I see. Thanks for the explanation. So there is apparently some carrier that ships only from China to Germany that is letting Li-Ions pass through? And then on the second leg from Germany to me, it will just be from the regular German government registered mail service? Or a different courier? And what site can I use to track the shipment once it leaves from Germany for its final destination to me?
I just ordered a pair of the protected version, but didn’t get to use the discount code. Sure hoping this company is legitimate and not some unethical bunch of shysters……
What I don’t understand is how there can be any lack of inventory from their suppliers when most direct cell sales have been getting returned to sellers. Hope they don’t try to swap for non-genuine.
On the contrary, my unprotected ones are moving forward. Looking good.
