Parallel or Series?

I’m buying a 32mm triple Noctigon for my Convoy C8 and MT Electronics is doing the reflow. They ask if i want it in series or parallel. I dont really know which one to choose. It’s being powered by a single high drain Samsung 30Q so which is best?

Depends on the driver. Unless you’re using some new boost driver, like the MTN-BST2, pick parallel.

Yes, you want a parallel setup.

The voltage of a parallel setup depends on the battery with a FET+1 driver.

Since you only have one 18650, you want parallel emitters.
