FedEx have returned the package to sender AGAIN.
I’m based in the UK, and this time the message said to expect it by the 24th Jan.
I saw there were a few UK based backers who had a message saying it would be delivered by the 23rd (ie today), just wondering if anyone in the UK has received theirs yet (with batteries)?
Has anyone who was due to receive theirs today checked the tracking status?

I think we only have one confirmed receipt in the UK and I’m not sure if they said they had cells or not.

I know of two others (along with me) who have NOT had theirs yet who ordered DHL without cells.

Hopefully, other UK DHL non battery buyers will get theirs in the next few days since they posted the 4th shipment on the 19th (posted on front page). Please let us know here if you get any customs fees.

My GT has arrived a few minutes ago. It’s still in the DHL box. Lumintop put $30 on the invoice. I asked in the google doc to put $22 on the invoice to avoid tax. Everything above $24 will be picked out by DHL. So that’s probably why Thijsco did not have to pay tax and I paid €50

I might have just had an attempted delivery OR a person scoping out my house to burgle it later.

Odd guy at my front window peering in. Neighbor took a photo and shouted at the person but they didn’t hang around.

I’ll have to wait til I get home to see if there are any notes through the door. I really hope there is otherwise that’s got me a bit worried.

I just typed basically that and then deleted it lol! (didn’t post it) if they put the wrong value the whole registered debacle will have been for nothing anyway -we may as well have used DHL! :person_facepalming:

I don#t think the google doc was meant to adjust everybodys invoice individually but to find a compromise on what to put on everybodys invoice, maybe separated by continents.

The wife hasn’t collected it from the neighbor yet so I can only guess that the TNT delivery today was the GT. I’ve not ordered anything else so it is highly likely. I’ll confirm in ~4hours but i’m 99% certain it is.

I’m on the edge of putting a claim in anyway to protect myself. The team may ‘know’ Neal, but I’m afraid don’t - at least not enough to potentially lose $111 in some mix up or something.
Your comment would suggest there is a ‘need’ to put a claim in, like there would be no chance of our money back from Neal ?

Edit - all joking aside, maybe someone needs to sort something out soon regarding this - if our pay date goes past the point of no return with paypal, who is going to cover the thousands of Dollars if something goes wrong? (that’s a big ‘if’ i know, but it is there)
This in no way being nasty or anything like, certainly it is not a moan at the fantastic team (who work their socks off, thank you) - it is purely just to protect our money - which I assume you would all understand.

Off-centered LED. Wondering why the hole in the centering ring is so much larger than the LED, does that not defeat it’s purpose.

I’m thinking that loosening and retightening the head might solve this, but I cannot get into the head, it’s on to tight, any suggestions?
The tailcap ring is also really tight, and someone a few pages back suggested it might be due to a pinched o-ring, but I am unable to unscrew the piece under the lumintop logo too.

That definitely doesn’t look as close to the LED as the one DB Custom posted back in post 13277. I hope this is an isolated case and the quality control hasn’t started to drop off, that would be a real shame especially since there are a lot still to go.

Certainly a different centering ring, his touches the corners of the LED while mine doesn’t….

How can I open up the head to try adjust it? The hotspot is visibly not round which is pretty annoying in use.
