Your renders are a thing of beauty for sure and so is your design.
Now that your design is being worked on with different software some changes can be made
Fritz has adapted his design and we soon can poll again with a less harsh choice
From 1,2,3 or 4 to
A 1, B 1 (2 also OK), C 2 and D 2 (1 also OK
I think and hope we will see B and D a lot since that helps in a result with most people happy.

No DBSAR is working on a true lantern light and with the proper diffuser a Q8 could be a nice lantern too (and probably sooner ready)
GT is a huge thrower.

I’m pretty sure he meant “dream flashlight”. He’s from Argentina, and linterna is Spanish for “flashlight”, hence his use of the the word “lantern”.

A winner is a winner. The voters who didn’t vote 1 or 2 clearly didn’t like them, so why force the subject to a second vote??!!

I think the plan is to release both your new design and the slightly updated 5AR design at the same time in the poll to get as little outside influence for the voting as possible.

I wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t, but I sure hope he does.
While I am hoping, I hope he reconsiders withdrawing also. Just my .02 however.
