I was 216 on the list, paid via PayPal on December 2. I have chosen a registered mail. I do not even know if my GT was sent … :person_facepalming: :weary:

You won’t be getting an email until the third round of PMs are sent out, which is looking like early February at this point. You can check the list on the first page of this thread to see if you’re on it

You are no. 1608 on the list. No, you won’t received any email. You will receive PM in BLF to ask you to pay when Neal has settled most of the previous orders and is ready to take your order.

Playing with some options today on the XHP-35’s, I’ve sliced a 5700K HD, chemical de-domed (not particularly successful, still sliced the now fragile dome material), and a full HD. The full HD is a tighter beam that I would have expected, even side by side with a sliced one. There’s some 500 lumens lost to the slice, so a full HD showed me 2487 out the front, 1994 from the sliced emitter. I got 10 in a tape from Arrow, E4 5700K HD’s. The chemically altered one got an odd yellowish hue that I didn’t care for, so it’s pretty much a slice or find the highest binned HI. I’m using a very thin scalpel blade, new out of the package, will try honing a new one and using some silicone on it to aid the slice and see if I can get it closer to an HI, there always seems to be some striation from the micro grooves on the blade, honing it should bring that down.

Fun shining 2 of these up into the night sky…

I swapped the mcpcb out of a SD75 and used 2x2S2P- SD75 battery carriers. Then used the GT’s mcpcb with the XHP35HI E2-1A I purchased from Lexel a Mtn.Max 4S 3amp driver and a K70 4S carrier, built the SD75 into a mini GT Thrower with my last smooth reflector Lumintop made for me!

With the different footprint, would it be possible to reflow a 12V 70.2 straight onto the stock board?

Would love if Lumitop made interchangeable heads for this light, one with an XHP70.2 springs to mind
