This is a GT group buy page. We don't exactly know if the "buyers" in Shirley's post are all from "outside". So before jumping to conclusions, let's investigate. It's strange that Shirley, who is marketing and sales manager at Lumintop, places a post on a FB page that will be visited by BLF members. That's not smart if you try to sell the GT at the normal price. So let's wait and see what TA comes up with.

I am still waiting for a reply about the early public sales, I will let you know as soon as I hear something. My guess is that like in December this is just the work of a single employee and not official policy. This would be the 3rd time this employee has pulled something like this since December, so it would not surprise me at all.
Lets go on that assumption until we hear differently ok?
Sometimes I can really understand why Wim disappeared, and he wanted to do this. I did this for my work, never something I wanted for my hobby.

Last I heard they slowed the federate down to the V2 levels and planned to stay there as long as people didn’t start the massive complaining about shipping times again, which is what made them revert to V1 int he first place.
I assume they are still working with the V2 feedrate at this point and will keep that up as long as the light is made.

Texas_Ace please help to address that all 555 lights has to be sent out 2 weeks before Chinese NY. Due to China/HK Post Staffs are off at least 10 days+ and the shipping& sorting to China Central mails are super slow. at least 20-50 days expect to be arrival of register mails from the past of my 5 Yrs Chinese NY experience.

Sadly there is nothing I, or anyone else can do about this.
The delays are due to the reflector shortage, they just can’t get them fast enough or they would have all shipped last year. Teh same applies now. They are shipping them as fast as they are getting the reflectors in.
At the current rate, looks like another 2-3 weeks for them to catch up depending on what the total number of orders is right now.

After all the effort and trouble all people involved have gone thru to make this happen I will remain patient.
Let’s not all start speculating on what is happening but wait for further news from the members in contact with Neal and/or Lumintop.
Nobody knows as yet exactly what’s going on so hold your horses.

do you know, if all DHL shippings from the first batch #555 are sent yet?
I was in the first batch and changed registered to DHL.
Neal answered me (PM) that he will change to DHL.
He answered me also, that he is waiting for the list, (lights shipped) as I asked him for a trackingnumber.

They said “most” of the DHL orders have shipped, that is all I know about it right now.
As you saw, Neal has been having trouble getting the tracking numbers in a timely fashion.
