Just in case anyone is interested and not aware…the Perseid Meteor Shower is tonight. For my location it’s now through dawn.
Basically it starts around midnight local time and picks up in intensity as the night progresses.
I’ve seen two tonight but I’m going to go back out a little later again.

Saw two before I read this, and 4-5 more since then (been looking). Its silly your starring and almost willing it to happen and nothing and as soon as you start to give up there’s another one just to the left or right to above where you were looking. An it so fast if it wasn’t for the tails you would question if it was there at all…. literally a blink away from missing it.
Yep…that was my experience as well. One bright one and 5-10 faints ones over a 3 hour period. I probably fell asleep for portions of it 
With light pollution you almost question what you saw as was mentioned above (except for the very brightest ones).
i live in los angeles, no chance of seeing much here, lol
Too cloudy here I stayed up all night and only saw 2, hopefully it’s clearer tonight.
I was on top of a mountain in the middle of no where for it. I probably saw a 2-3 really good ones and a dozen ok ones along with one really weird bright flash in the sky. All this in a 3 hour period. :)
