A hundred dollars and a cup of coffee will buy you any diagnoses you want, these days.

I totally agree with your last part, as I grew up in Los Angeles, went to school in the San Francisco area and have lived in Miami for ~34 years, so I see mental illness quite often. Heck, my dad’s a doctor and just hearing stories growing up would curl your short hairs.

I’ve seen real mental illness up front and personal.

It also doesn’t always validate ‘easy excuses’ for one’s abhorrent behaviors. Add to that the fact that comedians basically get a free pass in almost all cases (Michael Richards excepted) and who really cares?

And yes, I’m conservative, but thought some of the earlier DJT/White House skits were hilarious (MM doing Sean Spicer,) so I can laugh along with ‘funny’ gags and not get a ‘red behind’ over things.
