Yeah, I wasn’t gonna say anything, but…

YT has several video sizes, depending on the max rez of the video being ULed.

If the user ULs a video in 1080, you should have 4 versions in:

— 1080
— 720
— 480
— 360

And if you UL it in 720, only the last 3, if in SD (std def), only the last 2. (360 is generally only for mobile use, so if you’re not dialling in from a small-screen device, you might not even have 360i available.)

That’s why you’ll sometimes see [Click here for HD!] and such.

Resizing is done on your end, not theirs. So you can set the embedded video-screen size to a 1x1 dot, and you’ll still be paying full freight for whatever’s your default screen size worth of video.

In fact, resizing it smaller on-the-fly costs more CPU power (doing floating-point math for pretty much every video line coming in!) than a simple 1:1 mapping by keeping it in its “standard” size.

I have been going to post for awhile now , but I knew I would have to listen to these 2 songs when I posted them.

Even though it has been over a year , it still brings me to tears and stirs up deep feelings to hear these songs , as they were played for my moms funeral. I always liked both songs before that though and they are still nice songs.
