Please help me order/select a replica Para2 from AliExpress

Ive never ordered from Aliexpress before, but Ive read its a large site and safe to order from? Is it safe to just enter my credit card and info on that site?

Also can someone recommend a vendor who sells a nice fake Spy Para 2? Ive noticed the prices range from 20 to 35 for what looks like the same knife…? Are there different grades of this knife, or better vendors to order from…do you think this is a good vendor, he has over 200 sales? Or are there other BLF trusted vendors people here can recommend?

Finally, does anyone here have a fake PM2, are they okay knives?

Any comments are welcome - many thanks. (No, Im not spending 120USD plus shipping on a real one, my budget is around 25USD for a fake one, Im just being honest here.)

I’d say they’re pretty much the same, that said, if $25 is about what you have to spend why not get an FRN Byrd Cara Cara 2?

You get a known steel, made for a respectable company (under license for Spyderco) and factory support if something goes wrong.

By the way, Para2’s have a compression lock, not a liner lock.

Save up if you want the real deal.

The knife in the link is a fake Military not a Para.

The Para fakes are C81…steel could be anything from 5cr-8cr MOV series Chinese steel.

I’ve dealt with this AliExpress store Knifebase for a Medford Clone, they only have a few Spydercopys, a military and some that don’t look like any Spydercos…

It all depends what you are expecting, I am more than pleased with my Medford clone, it locks up tight, no play, very sharp and they were honest about the steel, 440. For $23, £14, I got a good knife for that money, nothing wrong with the knife at all.

There’s this Para 2 that looks O.K. but it’s $32, compression lock and everything, I’m impressed. I missed that one when I’ve been looking.

Thanks - nice fine. Im not expecting s30v, just buying it for looks and to see the quality you can get. Dont think I will get the Byrd…with shipping it comes to 37.50+13% sales tax. That $32 Para clone looks very nice, might take a chance.

Too bad AliExpress doesnt take PayPal or I would order for sure :frowning:

The escrow system that AliExpress uses is a safe way of buying, you pay AliExpress, the store doesn’t get any money until you tell AliExpress that you are satisfied with what you’ve got. Then the money is released to the store. The moment you order the clock is ticking for the store, they must deliver your goods within forty or forty-five days otherwise they get nothing.

On eBay I’ve found the FRN Cara Cara 2 for $25US before shipping (White Mountain Knives).

For New Zealanders it’s $7US shipping but I think it would be cheaper to Canada.

If you want a cheap spyderco with less quality buy a navy k631 instead of that fake with poor steel and quality.
